Shaker Dashboard Personal Size Rings

Hello all lovelies!

Here I made a quick step by step on how I made a Shaker Dashboard double sided for personal size rings planner and I'm so very excited to share here with you...

Supplies I used:

Cardstock ( I used white and used distress ink to blend it and give it a little bit of blue tones with snows)
Dies or ephemera if you want to include some ( I used this sparkling tree branches dies in pink)
Images and stamps to create the dashboard
Sequins (aprox a 1 teaspoon)
Small size page covers pockets (I use Avery) or regular cellophane clear pastic bags...any bag even the stamps bags can be used too if the size fits.
Glue
Gel pens

I made this for planner personal size so my size was 4" x 6.5" in  (10 x 16.5 cm )
so the only trick I can relate is that from your main cardboard just divide it in 2 small size will have a .5" in.
This is because we want to keep the sequins away from the ring punchs we are going to make on the last step... so we are making it in 2 sections...

Main section will be the largest one and will keep our dashboard/sequins/ and the small one .5 will keep the rings. so here a few of how I started

First colored my cardstock with blue tones, I'm still in a long learning path to get it blended to perfection but in this case It came as I expected.... not too deep...

I startedto glue my previews colored stickers with Tombow Glue, I love this glue cause it drys super fast and it doesn't make a mess around...

Turned it around and you see my Girl getting in a raining shadows of hearts, from Love Cynthia stamp set.

So now both sides are glued..time to next step...

I used the small avery pockets so it was easy because 3 sides were already sealed, same will happen if you decide to use cellophane bags, if you have sheets then I suggest sealing first at least 2 of the edges, right side and bottom... always go this way cause we need to leave the left side for our rings, we still have insert the .5 cardstock...so here ( top picture) sealed with the Fuse Tool the left side and as you note I separated the .5 from the main cardstock....

Fun part...add the sequins..

Turned around and added more sequins so it haves on both sides....

Final step is to seal the TOP... ALL IN THE SAME LINE.... (Sorry no picture of that cause my 2 hands were trying to avoid to be burned)

So here it all will make sense with the extra .5 part...you see the sequins section is apart from where you will do your ring holes..so they will never get out of your shaker..

Just a tip, if you have the 6 ring puncher already calibrated to punch that's awesome, but if you as me have the 1 I used an extra insert as reference and put on top just to make sure where to make the punch holes...

Next into my Planner..it fits!!! here is where you see how it turns out and what you will like to do next time....

Back side is also adorable.... this hearts...sequins... I admitted I added a lot of them but they say the more the merrier and she look very happy...

So how it looks when I open it up...

So girls go into try it and if you have any question please do not hesitate in contacting me back.. you can also find me on Instagram as ely.got.planning

Hello again ladies...this is Ely from DT Craftin Desert Divas  here today turn to be up in the blog sharing this wonderful card I made...

This is an adorable cute team of penguins from the Chilly Gift Digi Stamps, I edited the file with the help of inkscape and just mirrorer the image to get them in both positions....

Also added 2 small half circles that made with the Stitched in Circles dies also from the Craftin Desert Divas collection.

For coloring I used a mix of copics, tombow markers, and colored pencils... for the background used distress ink in ice blue tones and lavender...embossed the layer to make a nice effect....

The little bow its also part of the Shaker Tag Dies and final touches were glued to the background with the Fairy dust sequins ..

Hope you find some inspiration here and get to the Craftin Deser Divas group on Facebook so you can find some more fantastic Ideas with this and other of the Digis they offer...

Christmas Ginger Spirit Mode ON

Hello Ladies , Ely here Today on Craftin Desert Divas Block... back with you with some more inspiration to share now that I'm getting all Chrismas Mode ON.

I'm back with the Christmas Cards and I created the main layer with the Crazy Stitches Dies, with a red polka dot base, so next is a white tag using the Shaker Tag dies and I just glued it to the main layer.

The main character is the adorable GingerCookie Digital Stamp I downloaded it and make it larger to fit to my needed size, then used my colored pencils, lastly made a little threat on the back with the help of the Stitched In Circles dies in red color, and some glued sequins from the Holly Jolly collection...

Feeling Christmas around the corner

Hello Lovely Ladies <3 ...

I feel like November is going fast, need to start my Christmas Cards getting ready...
so I did another card to send someone special on this Christmas season...

And this is the result

Using the Christmas Cheer Stamp set from the last release I choose the Christmas tree stamp, for coloring using my prismacolor pencils, added a few details, and I did 3 layers of it to make a standing out look..

For cutting the fantastic size tag I used the Shaker Tag Dies from this set used the large size tag,  and the mini ribbon die, added in center the little dot from the diestoo to add a little embellishment in red tones...

For the next layer I used an embossing mat to add some texture and the Crazy Stitches Dies , used the large size....

I also used a little square in the main tag and used distress ink to color it in wood tones... and glued all together with the tombow liquid glue that works perfect ....

I'm very happy with the results, this card will make someone smile, the stamp is so cute and coloring it is a really stress relief and joy while the process...

Hope you girls like it, just as much as I did, and can find some inspiration in here or at the group, if you will like more inspiration ideas please feel free to follow the Craftin Desert Divas Gallery Group at Facebook, I'm sure you gonna love what my Team group haves every day for you......

Thank you
